Motherwell, Scotland
The town of Motherwell has undergone three phases of regeneration works in recent months. From focusing on the Town’s public space surrounding Merry Street to further project centers around two public buildings, Hartecast products were selected for specific areas. The new streetscape was designed to complement and tie into the existing architecture. Materials such as granite paving along with ductile iron litter bins were used which specifically reflect the history of the town.
The stylish ductile iron Litter Bins will provide the scheme with excellent cost benefits through time. Stainless Steel bollards with painted finishes and cast caps were also used which also provides excellent strength along with contemporary styling. Both products work well to help raise the quality of the town centre environment and improve its overall appearance.
