Croydon South End High Street

Hartecast litter bins were chosen to help enhance the regeneration program in Croydon South End High Street. This two-year, £3 million program was officially launched in November 2015.

The project, led by international design practice HASSELL, in conjunction with We Made That, was the first in a series of high street rejuvenation projects for the London Borough of Croydon, as part of the Mayor’s Regeneration Fund.
The development focused on removing clutter from the street to put the heritage of local buildings back on show. Newly planted trees helped soften gathering areas and a variety of public art and bespoke graphics brought a splash of colour and life to walls and windows.

Hartecast is the UK’s leading Street Furniture supplier. See all projects.
