Hartecast help re-establish Portadown and Lurgan as modern contemporary market towns

Situated just south of Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland, Portadown and Lurgan have undergone a major redevelopment of their streetscape. The £8 million scheme is the responsibility of Craigavon Borough Council and as with all Public Realm projects, the Street Furniture is one of the most notable elements of the refurbishment.

Selected for our quality, durability and strength, the Hartecast furniture with its contemporary design sets these two towns apart from the rest, and will help in bringing them forward over the coming years.

Hartecast’s street furniture such as seating and litter bins are an integral part of the newly redeveloped civic space and should help to attract more people into the towns with their ‘inviting’ presence and sleek style. Both towns have a large footfall hence, a robust and durable solution was required to comply with this tough environment and Hartecast’s characteristics’ are well suited to this.
