Testimonials

“When we were choosing bins for the new streetscape, we wanted the design to suit the existing architecture. The ductile iron litter bins we installed have a simple, timeless design and are the perfect size for this town centre location. Another important consideration was value for money over time and we were satisfied that Hartecast could deliver a durable product. It was great to be able to paint the bins Anthracite Glimmer to match the rest of the street furniture too”.

“One of the main reasons we specified Hartecast was because we were able to see a sample of their product range before we made a commitment – the manufacturer visited with samples of bollards, bins and more. This was useful because the products are in cast iron which is unusual for street furniture. It’s early days yet but we are hoping they will be more durable than other similar products.”

“We needed to add some soft landscaping aspects to Allerton Road so we used Hartecast’s large feature planters to introduce greenery to this urban environment and as a landscaping tool, partitioning areas of the site. The planters improvement in the visual appeal of the site speaks for itself.”

“With characteristics of being one of the busiest streets in the country, Market Street in Manchester has now embraced Hartecast’s litter bins into the heart of the city. Chosen for their unique styling and strength, the bins blend in with the surrounding environment which caters for thousands of pedestrians each day. Operationally, this tough urban setting requires the bins to be emptied many times each day – which is a demanding task on any product and requires high strength at its core. Working on this prestigious project, we are proud that Manchester City Council has selected our bin as the bin of choice in this busy Public Realm area.”

“This busy urban environment needed bins and seating that are extremely durable but also products that could compliment the streetscape architecture with a contemporary, stylish design. The team at Hartecast was able to supply off-the-shelf products which met all our requirements.

Following installation our service crews are reporting that the bins are easy to service and withstanding the rigours of daily use across the Borough. The products have also generated many positive comments from our ratepayers and visitors.”

“It says a lot for the quality and durability of your product that the bin itself was still in perfect working order after it had been badly knocked over by a truck, we removed the concrete from the base of the bin and it was used again”

“The team at Hartecast are professional, experienced and innovative. On top of that we’ve found that the products they manufacture are both robust and aesthetically pleasing . That’s why we choose Hartecast – we know we are in expert hands.”

“Hartecast specialises in street furniture and usually we buy off-the-shelf products from them. We had a bad experience with a previous supplier and we found that you can’t beat Hartecast products for durability. For Derry City we also had a specific requirement for a pop-up bollard and we could not obtain an acceptable off the shelf unit. I approached Hartecast and the guys firstly developed a prototype for our approval and then refined the design to deliver a bespoke product that’s performing exceptionally well. So I’d recommend Hartecast both for their off-the-shelf range and for any innovative, bespoke street furniture requirements.”

We installed Hartecast street furniture on a number of urban environmental improvement schemes in Derry City. The service provided by Hartecast on all these projects was excellent. The furniture looked good and the quality was most suitable for the environment. Delivery timeframes were very good, particularly on some projects where adherence to tight programmes was critical. Generally, the professional service provided by Hartecast from specification and costing through to post project completion was exemplary. Hartecast are specialists in the provision of street furniture products and continuously strive to develop products to meet clients’ needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hartecast.
